lunar new year eve
1 more day to lunar new yr. have you got all your stuff? anyway, invited my friends over for reunion dinner. thanks to all my mates for making everything possible and kelly for taking her time off. Was good to see her after sometime. Not forgetting nes and licia, and licia surprised me with her 3k braces, so expect to see a nice set of toothie teethie in 1 and a half years time. Not forgetting lian for helping me to get in touch with the others, hui for helping out with the dishwashing and ting, hmmm... for eating ba. hahahah! joke of the day was when kelly and I doing the "spirit fingers" from the movie Bring It On. When you put her and I together, expect disastrous non-stop laughter!
Tonight will be the dinner with my parents, kor, aunty and uncle. Dad just love the whole place to be lively.
I just bought Hardware Mag and a book called "The Sky is crazy" by Yvonne Lee. The Hardware Mag offers some of the coolest gadgets in town and for the new year 2006. I'm so into these gadgets. Well, sometimes seeing it do soothes the cravings. Needless to say, by owning it, its definitely an add-on.
"The Sky is crazy" is from a local writer, sharing her experiences over the past years as a cabin crew in an International airline. Actually my main purpose of buying is to share it with esther. Coz' this books is simply hilarous and bring the inside-out of the metal cylinder at 35000 feet.
what else? lately, been thinking about what I really want to do after my NS. Because most of my platoon mates have either reserved a place in NUS or NTU or have already started to look around at overseas education. Me? i'm still stuck and clueless where I should start. The financial issue for swiss education for Hotel Management seems to have shatter my dream. Imagine where am I gonna bloody raise the 100k in 1.5 years, or maybe 2 to 3 years if I'm gonna start working first. Rob a bank, kidnap and ask for ransom. haha. Imagine this crazy scene where you kidnap and ask for ransom this manner. "I want to study Hotel Management in swiss, pay my 100k school fees with a luxurious hostel, and fly me there by a prestige airline with 10k of allowance, and i'll release the hostage" (-_-")
Let me enjoy this new year first and I'll think about it later. Not forgetting bringing my parent to watch "I'm not stupid 2" tomorrow night. Heard from esther its really a good local movie and you can relate to it well. Wishing everyone, a Happy Chinese New year filled with luck and prosperity!
